CES is seeking an experienced Crane Operator for a Local Agricultural CK client

45-50 hours/week

339A License required

Areas of Responsibility:
 Operate mobile crane to lift, secure, move, position or place equipment and materials with a strong
focus on safety, quality and productivity
 Accurately complete and maintain all necessary documentation for each shift, including load-related
paperwork, inspection log books, daily trip logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspection, preventative
maintenance and annual certifications, hours of service in relation to applicable provincial and federal
 Fulfill all requirements in relation to pre-operational, pre-trip, en route and post trip inspections on
vehicle, crane and load to ensuring safety and road worthiness. Create lift plans and accurately
calculate crane capacities and weight in preparation for hoisting and rigging assignments. Immediately
report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or damage to the vehicles
 Comply with applicable legislation and company transportation, operator and safety policies and
regulations including but not limited to safe operation, carriage of goods, handling and securing of
loads, drivers’ hours of service, occupational health and safety, transportation of dangerous goods
 Assist with the proper care and condition of company fleet for optimal vehicle/crane performance,
mechanical fitness and cleanliness. Ensure that basic repairs and maintenance tasks are completed
 Transport, secure, load and unload shipments to clients and construction crews including but not limited
to: steel materials, packaged or bulk seed and other bulk grain shipments, floating heavy equipment
between job sites
 Operate and drive various company fleet vehicles to transport goods, materials, or passengers over
varying distances in a safe and efficient manner according to scheduled assignments
 Perform various forms of labour to assist in the successful completion of construction projects from start
to finish within budgeted time limits
 Other duties as required
