Location – Stratford, ON.
Shifts available: (Must be flexible working different hours including weekends)
– 7 AM – 3 PM
– 11 PM – 7 AM
Salary: $18 – 20/hour (Negotiable based upon experience)
We are currently looking for Senior Care Assistants to join our client’s team asap and this is a
critical role within our communities as it impacts the lives of residents and ignites the warmth of
human connection.
Responsibilities:
Provide support to the Personal Support Workers working at the long care
community centres.
Working around positive Covid-19 patients.
Provide day to day care and support to everyone one living at the facility.
Assist them with food preparation, serving of beverages, and food.
Assist with laundry and other housekeeping duties such as restocking shelves,
making beds, and moving laundry to and from the laundry department.
Help in the kitchen in prepping the food.
Assist in taking the individuals to different events happening at the facility.
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a similar role is a must. International
experience is considered as a strong asset.
Comfortable working around positive Covid-19 patients.
Comfortable working extended hours whenever needed.
Able to work under pressure.
Attention to details.
Excellent communication skills.
