Canadian Executive Search is looking for a Operations Manager for a leading automotive manufacturing facility dedicated to delivering high-quality products. They are committed to innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement.
Position Overview: We are seeking a Operations Manager to oversee quality assurance processes, ensure compliance with industry standards, and drive projects aimed at improving product quality. This role is essential in maintaining our client’s reputation for excellence in automotive manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the operation’s strategic plan by providing specific product designs into finished products that meet customer order requirements, product quality standards, and product delivery commitments
- Serve as the tactical liaison between the Plant Manager and Production Supervisors while leading others in achieving organizational goals
- Coordinate quality assurance projects and initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Assist in training and mentoring staff on quality protocols and best practices.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management on quality performance and project status.
Qualifications:
- More than 10+ years experience in the field.
- More than 3+ years operations manager experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in quality assurance or project coordination in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Proficiency in quality management tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO).
