Pay Rate: STARTING $17.50-$18 + benefits + Job training

Job Summary:
This position’s primary responsibilities will be to pick materials/ products in preparation of manufacturing needs, to guide and assist in the overall materials needs from order sheets. The role will include lifting materials, finished products and packing items, both manually and with the use of hoists.

Responsibilities:
• Comply with plant safety procedures to ensure a safe environment.
• Meet established requirements and maintains oversight and quality of existing components for all product assembling.
• Defines assembling requirements for product and customer requirements.
• Performs repetitive kitting of the company’s products into bins or pallet.
• May perform other packaging tasks including placing labels on packages, operating small production equipment, putting manuals into binders, counting and sorting various items, and forming or breaking down boxes for final product.
• Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
• Checks goods received internally or externally and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
• Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift.
• Prepares and maintains records of parts shipped.
• Reviews customer orders, examines, stocks and distributes merchandise, products and materials in inventory warehouses or manufacturing lines.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification is a plus.
• Demonstrate competency in basic shop math.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids.
• Flexible and responsive, with a strong teamwork orientation.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Desire to learn new skills and improve technical knowledge.
• Commitment to quality and accuracy of work performed and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with others and to participate in a cross-functional team.
• Possess ability to drive for results, hold self-accountable, and continuously improvement.
• Must be able to communicate in Spanish.
• Computer skills required: Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook, and company manufacturing and order system (Traverse)
