Canadian Executive Search Group is looking to fill a Paint Maintenance Technician Role at their client facility in the Waterloo Region!

Responsibilities

– Directly supervises employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems

– Leadership skills
– High mechanical aptitude and able to work flexible hours
– Welding (asset)
– SPC training (asset)
– PLC Programming experience (asset)
– Computer literacy with emphasis on MS Word and Excel (asset)
– Able to wear PPE ie. Respirator, gloves, glasses etc.

Qualifications

– 2 years Community College in Electronics, Robotics, Mechanics or three years related experience in Electronics, Robotics or Mechanics

– Operate, troubleshoot and maintain highly automated equipment
– Provide technical support for conventional and electrostatic robotic paint applications
– Maintain effective Preventative Maintenance program
– Plan and lead major cleaning/maintenance activities for scheduled plant shutdown periods
– Repair equipment during breakdowns, determine cause(s) of breakdown, plan and implement countermeasures to prevent reoccurrence
– Assist with daily process startup. Process improvements and equipment upgrades
– Develop and control inventory of spare parts and repair material necessary to maintain equipment
– Lead daily maintenance and cleaning activities
– Train other Technicians and General Associates to assist with regular maintenance activities
