Process / Industrial Engineer
Location: Rockwall, TX
Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 annually
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Process / Industrial Engineer to join our Rockwall, Texas manufacturing team. This position plays a critical role in supporting site development, new program launches, industrialization activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a large-scale manufacturing environment and a strong background in process improvement, equipment installation, and production support. Experience with automotive manufacturing, plastic injection molding, or extrusion processes is highly preferred.
Position Objective
Support the site’s growth and development by improving manufacturing processes, ensuring production readiness, supporting new program launches, and providing engineering support to Production and Maintenance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure quality, safety, and equipment uptime within assigned production areas.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
- Ensure plant readiness for successful launches of new programs.
- Support the installation and implementation of new manufacturing equipment from planning through production launch.
- Provide technical engineering support to Production and Maintenance teams.
- Support troubleshooting and problem-solving activities to improve manufacturing performance.
- Assist with process improvements, equipment optimization, and production enhancements.
- Support the overall growth and development of the Rockwall manufacturing site.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related field preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial engineering.
- Experience supporting manufacturing processes and equipment installations.
- Strong understanding of continuous improvement practices and problem-solving methodologies.
- Experience working in an automotive or industrial manufacturing environment preferred.
- Knowledge of plastic injection molding and/or extrusion processes is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
