AWS/CES is looking for a Process Technician – Kingsville, ON (Temp to Hire)
Pay: $25/hour
We are seeking a skilled Process Technician for a temp-to-hire position in Kingsville, ON. The ideal candidate will have experience in injection molding and a commitment to ensuring smooth production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Setup & Execution
- Ensure production meets forecasted schedules.
- Perform mold changes using approved checklists and procedures.
- Organize and store tools in designated areas.
- Complete all changeover reports as required.
- Process Monitoring & Optimization
- Work with Quality Inspectors to monitor and optimize the production process.
- Provide feedback to improve cycle times and product quality.
- Reporting & Problem Solving
- Record and report downtime, scrap, manpower issues, and equipment failures to management.
- Collaborate with Quality Inspectors to resolve scrap or quality concerns.
- Document all process changes or deviations from standard procedures.
- Safety & Supervision
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Supervise shift personnel and ensure compliance with all procedures.
- General Duties & Maintenance
- Perform other duties and general maintenance tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Required: Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent.
- Preferred: Certification or degree in a relevant field is an asset.
Experience:
- Required: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an injection molding environment.
Job-Specific Skills:
- High competency in injection molding and tooling knowledge.
- Strong understanding of machinery, processes, and IATF/ISO requirements.
- Preferred: Certified Lift Truck driver.
- Valid Driver’s License.
