Job Description: As a Process Technician in the Blow / Injection Molding line, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, quality, and optimal performance of our molding processes. Your expertise will contribute to the production of high-quality products that meet and exceed our customer’s expectations. You will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting blow and injection molding machines to achieve production targets while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and prepare blow / injection molding machines for production runs.
• Monitor and control the molding process parameters to ensure consistent product quality and production efficiency.
• Perform mold changes, adjustments, and preventative maintenance on machines and molds.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process issues to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
• Collaborate with the engineering and quality control teams to optimize processes and resolve technical challenges.
• Train and mentor junior technicians and operators.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in blow and injection molding.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in plastics processing is a plus.
• PLC experience a plus.
• Proven experience as a Blow / Injection Molding Process Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of blow and injection molding processes, machinery, and tooling.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting molding defects and optimizing process parameters.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
