Production Scheduler

Key Responsibilities:

Schedule production requirements for plastic injection molding and assembly processes in a timely and efficient manner.
Coordinate and manage ongoing production activities, ensuring smooth workflow and optimal resource allocation.
Communicate production schedules clearly and accurately to all relevant stakeholders, both within the organization and externally.
Utilize knowledge of injection molding and assembly systems to effectively plan and optimize production schedules.
Demonstrate computer literacy and proficiency, particularly in using Plex or similar web/cloud-based ERP systems for production scheduling.
Adapt to a growing and evolving work environment, effectively planning for operational needs, including weekends when necessary.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with production goals and priorities.
Continuously improve and refine production scheduling processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent formal education in a relevant field is preferred.
Experience and background in plastic injection molding and assembly are essential for success in this role.
Strong technical aptitude and comfort with complex systems, especially in scheduling through ERP systems.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey information clearly, concisely, and accurately.
Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet production demands.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new software systems, specifically Plex or equivalent.
Prior experience in production scheduling, preferably in a manufacturing or related industry.
Ability to plan and prepare for weekend production activities, despite not working on weekends directly.
