Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive manufacturing processes, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Manage a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement efficiency-enhancing initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address production issues and drive process optimization.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports to track performance metrics and identify trends.
• Drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement among production staff.
Requirements:
• 2-3 years’ experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
• Working in a unionized environment is an asset
• Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Surface Mount Technology experience is an asset
• Injection Mold Technology experience is a asset
• Weld processing and Stamping experience is an asset
