CES is now hiring Full Time Quality Manager for a local Windsor Company
All positions are full time leading to permanent. Students need not apply.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Drives the quality system ensuring that procedures and practices are in place and being adhered to. Involvement in continuous improvement of these procedures and practices.
- Proven experience on PPAP, 5Why, 8D, Corrective Action activities, implementation of a plant wide 5S Visual Management System
- Manage Sample/Prototype and PPAP runs to assure customer compliance
- Manager/monitor direct reports in order to meet and achieve company objectives
- Great problem solving, Able to analyze situation neutrally
- Proven experience on ISO-9001-2015, Able to schedule, monitor internal and external audit
- Provides direction, leadership and motivation to direct reports thru daily supervision and/or mentoring activities.
- Calibration of inspection devices and recordkeeping
- Create work instruction and Quality alert as needed
- Proven ability to review and analyze dimensional reports
- Other duties assigned when needed
Education and Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in quality (preference to CQE/CMQ will be given).
- Minimum of 5 years quality management system experience.
- Full understanding of SPC and ability to apply within manufacturing.
- Quality auditing training and experience.
- Strong problem solving and reporting skills.
- Experience in lean manufacturing principles would be an asset.
- Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision.
- Strong knowledge of machining and fabrication process
Hours: 6:00am – 3:30pm
Wage $25.00/hr
