Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of quality inspectors to achieve production and quality goals.
- Monitor production processes and inspection activities to ensure compliance with customer and company quality standards.
- Develop, maintain, and improve work instructions, quality procedures, and inspection processes.
- Analyze quality and production data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
- Coach, mentor, and develop employees while providing regular performance feedback.
- Partner with Human Resources to address attendance, performance, and employee relations matters.
- Coordinate staffing and scheduling to meet customer production requirements.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring exceptional service and responsiveness.
- Maintain accurate production, quality, and timekeeping records using company systems.
- Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment while ensuring compliance with all safety policies.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or light industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing quality systems, inspection processes, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and lead teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience with quality reporting systems and process improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency with digital platforms such as Salesforce or similar business systems is preferred.
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
- Flexibility to work any shift based on business needs.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to visually inspect parts for defects in color, size, shape, and texture.
- Stand, walk, and work on concrete floors for up to 10–12 hours.
- Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and perform repetitive motions.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds.
- Perform detailed inspection work requiring excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
- Ability to work in varying manufacturing temperatures and environments.
