CES is seeking an experienced repair tech for a Huntsville area client

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Assists with daily prioritization of the repair queue and adheres to the repair and test schedule
 Uses technical manuals and/or manufacturer’s manuals, their
understanding of industrial equipment, and observations to identify the source of the problem
 Performs diagnostic tests on malfunctioning machinery to determine what repairs are needed
 Disassembles machinery and equipment when it arrives at Repair &Service Center
 Repairs or replaces broken or malfunctioning components
 Reassembles equipment, performs tests and adjusts/calibrates equipment
to make sure that the equipment is repaired and running per specifications
 Adjusts and calibrates equipment and machinery to optimal specifications
 Cleans and lubricates equipment or machinery
 Follows company policies and procedures while providing the highest
quality service to our customer base
 Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture,
values and mission of HYCO Alabama LLC
 Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual
events to keep plant operating to standard and to set a positive example
for the employees
 Ensures completion of accurate records
 Reports problems to supervisor
 Maintains clean work area

 Capable of pushing, pulling and/or moving up to 50 pounds
 Ability to work in shop environment – continuous exposure to potentially
hazardous metal working machinery & equipment, loud noises, dust, mist,
oils & solvents
 Capable of standing, stooping, bending, lifting, twisting frequently for
extended time periods of 2-4 hours at a time
 Perform other tasks as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
 One-year certificate or an associate degree in an industrial tech college program
 Minimum of two years of hands on industrial experience in the repair of control and mechanical systems
 Ability to read and interpret readings from mics, calipers and other gauges
 Reads and understands blueprints, schematics, machining drawings
 Knowledge and experience in a machine shop is preferred
 Ability to perform work while maintaining standards of performance
 Familiarity with International Organization for Standardization (ISO) quality policies and procedures
 Ability to set up the shop or production area for optimal use and
production efficiency and work efficiently when installing or repairing equipment
 Previous Repair Center or NOC experience preferred
 Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
 Able to professionally communicate needs and progress to managers
 Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
 Strong critical thinking, analytic and problem-solving skills
