AWS/CES is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer in Southfield MI.

Salary- $100K + Benefits

  • Must have automotive experience.
  • A degree is a plus
  • Would require some travel to Canada

Job Details:

  • Engineering documentation including DFMEAs, WCCA’s, Safety Documents,
  • and P-diagrams
  • Assist with program DVP&R creation and completion
  • Assist team in circuit design
  • Circuit simulation and initial development testing for responsible programs
  • Failure analysis
  • Testing result analysis
  • Specification reviews and document management
  • Specification and test creation where applicable to new projects / issues
  • Customer reviews and interfacing with suppliers
  • 8D creation for design applicable failures/issues
  • R&D development reporting
  • General Understanding of Electronics designs as they relate to ISO26262
  • Production / launch support
  • Interfacing with internal Quality/Manufacturing and Mechanical design groups
  • Develop the programming parameter definitions for each new sensor
  • Perform testing for Product Engineers/Program Managers while following test
  • specifications
  • Electrical testing of sensors and gathering of data using DMM, Oscilloscope
  • and other test equipment
  • Rapidly isolate technical issues to the core elements such as product
  • hardware, software, test systems or process
  • Solder SMT and through-hole components for prototype testing
  • Ability to troubleshoot products and test issues on Inductive and Hall Effect
  • Sensors
  • Identify and demonstrate design related issues to the support teams
  • Work with the design, test, and manufacturing support groups to effectively
  • close out all identified issues required for the development of a high yielding
  • test efficient product.
