AWS/CES is seeking a Senior PLM System Engineer for a battery cell manufacturing client in Memphis, TN

About the Role
We’re looking for a Sr. PLM System Engineer to design and integrate Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions that improve engineering and manufacturing operations. You’ll help create a seamless digital thread, enhance product quality, reduce time-to-market, and ensure compliance with industry standards. This role also involves training teams and leading process improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage PLM solutions for engineering and manufacturing.
- Connect PLM with ERP, MES, and CAD tools to ensure smooth data flow.
- Configure PLM tools for BOM management, change control, and workflows.
- Maintain system architecture, user roles, and data governance for security and scalability.Enable real-time access to product data across teams.
- Use analytics to identify bottlenecks and improve product development cycles.
- Work with teams to streamline product development and change management.
- Implement PLM solutions that enhance quality, efficiency, and reduce time-to-market.
- Ensure PLM systems meet industry standards (ISO, FDA, APQP, etc.).
- Improve traceability, documentation, and reporting for compliance.
- Train teams on PLM best practices and system usage.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot system issues.
- Lead PLM projects from planning to implementation.
- Work with vendors, consultants, and internal teams to drive system improvements.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in PLM system implementation for engineering/manufacturing.
- Experience with PLM platforms (Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Dassault ENOVIA).
- Understanding of BOM management, engineering change management (ECM), and NPI.
- Familiarity with CAD software and PLM integrations.
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
