AWS/CES is looking for a Shipping and Receiving associate for our automotive manufacturing client
- Location: Columbia, MO
- Pay rate: $19.20/hr
- Shift: 10:45pm – 6:45am Sunday-Friday
- Job Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the plant
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments (part numbers, quantities, and documentation)
- Package products according to customer requirements with accurate counts
- Maintain inventory and support cycle counts and Kanban systems
- Pull and stock materials from designated locations
- Enter shipping/receiving and inventory data into internal systems
- Deliver UPS/FedEx packages in a timely manner
- Break down returnable dunnage and manage scrap and waste disposal
- Perform daily forklift inspections and ensure equipment is operating safely
- Create shipping documentation and ASN (as needed)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain) required
- Experience in shipping & receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing preferred
- Basic computer skills (data entry, email, MS Word)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
