Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate for a manufacturing facility in Wallingford, CT. This is a day shift, temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential.
Job Responsibilities
Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders
Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies
Accurately enter the receiving data into the system
Prepare and package outgoing shipments
Generate shipping paperwork and labels (FedEx, UPS, freight carriers)
Maintain shipping logs and documentation
Load and unload trucks as needed
Organize and maintain inventory in designated areas
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow all safety and company procedures
Qualifications
Previous shipping and receiving or warehouse experience preferred
Manufacturing environment experience is a plus
Basic computer skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Forklift experience is a plus (certification preferred)
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
