CES is now hiring Full Time, Skilled Machine Operators-Cleaners on behalf of clients in the Windsor area
This is a Full Time Steady Position – Students Need NOT Apply
The Machine Operator is required to grind and clean weld spots on aluminum railings and other similar tasks.
Summary of Job Duties:
- Machine Operation
- Perform grinding on aluminum railings
- Maintain equipment and keep work areas clean
- Work in a fast-paced environment with timelines and quota objectives.
- Report any inventory problems to management.
- Quality inspection of products, reporting any defects to quality lead.
- Complete all relevant and required documentation prior to shift ending.
- Other duties as assigned by the management team.
- Comply with all safety procedures as required by the Health & Safety Act and/or Company practices or procedures including but not limited to the wearing of all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as specified by the Act or designated by the Company.
Requirements:
- Ability to work all steady days (7am – 4:30pm) or steady afternoons (4:30pm – 2am)
- Ability to read Blueprints
- Able to use and read a tape measure
- Ability to bend/stretch/reach during the duration of the shift
- Strong attention to detail/quality, and safety orientated
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment performing repetitive tasks
- Ability to retain information and communicate in English effectively (both verbally & in writing)
- Will need to supply own safety shoes and safety glasses
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Experience:
- Must have previous Machine Operating Experience with aluminum
- Previous Grinding, Polishing experience
- Experience working with hand tools (specifically hand held grinder)
- Forklift experience preferred
Additional Information:
- Weekly Pay – Every Friday!
- Full Time: $17.85/hour + sp
- Opportunity for overtime
- Must have reliable transportation.
