CES is now hiring Full Time, Skilled Machine Operators-Cleaners on behalf of clients in the Windsor area

This is a Full Time Steady Position – Students Need NOT Apply

The Machine Operator is required to grind and clean weld spots on aluminum railings and other similar tasks.

 Summary of Job Duties:

  • Machine Operation
  • Perform grinding on aluminum railings
  • Maintain equipment and keep work areas clean
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with timelines and quota objectives.
  • Report any inventory problems to management.
  • Quality inspection of products, reporting any defects to quality lead.
  • Complete all relevant and required documentation prior to shift ending.
  • Other duties as assigned by the management team.
  • Comply with all safety procedures as required by the Health & Safety Act and/or Company practices or procedures including but not limited to the wearing of all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as specified by the Act or designated by the Company.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work all steady days (7am – 4:30pm) or steady afternoons (4:30pm – 2am)
  • Ability to read Blueprints
  • Able to use and read a tape measure
  • Ability to bend/stretch/reach during the duration of the shift
  • Strong attention to detail/quality, and safety orientated
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment performing repetitive tasks
  • Ability to retain information and communicate in English effectively (both verbally & in writing)
  • Will need to supply own safety shoes and safety glasses
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

Experience:

  • Must have previous Machine Operating Experience with aluminum
  • Previous Grinding, Polishing experience
  • Experience working with hand tools (specifically hand held grinder)
  • Forklift experience preferred

Additional Information:

  • Weekly Pay – Every Friday!
  • Full Time: $17.85/hour + sp
  • Opportunity for overtime
  • Must have reliable transportation.
