Canadian Executive Search Group is on the search for Tool Pre-setter at their facility in Vaughan, ON.
Our client is looking for energetic, hardworking individuals to join their Team!
Shift timings- Monday-Friday (7:00 am-3:30pm)
Qualifications
– Basic Knowledge of ISO9001 requirements
-Extensive knowledge of tooling
-Experience with first-off inspection, quality checks
-Ability to use measuring equipment and read Engineering drawings and specifications
Responsibilities
Presetting of tools for CNC machines including lathes, mills
Maintaining a clean and organized Tool Crib area
Perform routine physical inventory and request inventory replenishment
Receive tooling and accessories and store in appropriate drawer
Clean all tooling and fixtures before placing into their respective drawers
Set up and operation of manual machine shop equipment, including mills, and lathes
Use basic measuring tools, including micrometers and vernier calipers
Operate power and hand lift trucks and floor sweepers
Perform general clean up and other duties as assigned
Assist Machinists, perform Bench work, CNC Machine operating when needed
Handle small manual and power tools skillfully.
Keep an ongoing list of consumption and determine critical inventory levels
Develop and recommend a routine purchasing schedule
Ensure that all Safety Policies and Procedures are followed
Always look for ways to improve efficiencies and new technology to assist with process flow
Ensure 5-S is being adhered to and that the shop floor is clean and tidy
