Rotating shift, able to work on nights and some mandatory OT. 

Payment: up to $17/hour, depending on experience.

-Be able to meet the physical requirements of the job including but not limited to:

Prolonged periods of standing, sitting and kneeling.

Ability to climb stairs and ladders and work in a variety of conditions (hot, cold, etc.).

Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

 

Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently load / unload trucks, perform various warehouse duties, provide service to walk-in customers, and deliver the product via company vehicles (possible).­

Main Tasks: Actively participate in all Safety, Environmental, and Quality Assurance programs. Safely operate forklift to load/unload trucks and customer vehicles. Pulling orders per customer requests, including palletizing bags and preparing the pallet for shipment. Must be done is such a way as to reduce the chance of damage in transit. 

Must be able to lift 60lb, and repetitively lift 50-pound bags when pulling orders. Accurately fill orders and document lot numbers for each bag and each product. Shrinkwrap and stage orders for shipment. Verify gross vehicle weight rating to eliminate overloading trucks and customers. Promotes the ValuesAssist in maintaining the housekeeping program (cleaning), including required written documentation. Filtering facepiece respirator is required when using compressed air for blow-down cleaning. Assist in efficient warehousing and organization of products. Attempt to keep products clear of dust, debris, and safe stacking of pallets is required. Certain products must be segregated from others. 

 

High School diploma or GED, prior experience in a manufacturing environment, driving a forklift, basic computer skills, excellent verbal and written communications, strong safety and math aptitude, and the ability to lift and carry up to ­60 lbs regularly are needed.
