Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing water and wastewater systems, as well as ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on water and wastewater systems
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment to identify issues
- Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Record and report maintenance activities and findings
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations
- Respond to emergency situations and perform corrective actions
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in water and wastewater systems
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments
- Valid driver’s license
