CESG is seeking experienced Weld Destruct  for their client located in Brampton.

The Welder is responsible to weld and assemble parts accurately and efficiently to the Drawings/ Instructions provided. They are accountable to produce parts to established requirements.

Location: Brampton, ON

Pay Rate:   $19.00/hr – $20.00/hr

Shift: Days / Afternoons / Nights

Job Requirements:
• Minimum 6 to 18 months experience in a production environment, machine operation
• Must be able to read and write in English
• Able to operate air tools such as chisels and guns
• Minimum knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to follow standardized work instructions
• Excellent attendance
• Ability to work efficiently with minimum supervision
• Ability to work in a team environment and be a team player
• Ability to occasionally work alternative hours if necessary to meet customer requirements
• Ability to maintain records in an organized and tidy manner

Job Duties:
• Operates variety of equipment, tear down, plasma cutting / trimming machine of welded parts
or perform other duties according to specific job instructions
• Preforms pushout testing on ball joint/bushing and fasteners
• Follows work instructions and verbal directions to meet targeted production quotas
• Provides timely destructive tests as required
• Communicates test results to production team
• Notifies Production Supervisor of quality related problems immediately
• Completes all necessary documentation correctly and in a timely manner, asks for assistance
as required
• Ensures tasks assigned are being met on each shift as required
• Ensures housekeeping is maintained at all time at the workstation
• Performs Non- Destruct Test (NDT) as and when required as per schedule
• Contributes to continuous improvement, productivity, quality, customer service, cost reduction
and safety requirements
