Canadian Executive Search Group is seeking experienced Welder/ fitters for a long term project
Select appropriate welding equipment and plan the welding sequence to ensure efficient operations.
- Prepare materials by grinding, carbon arc cleaning, scale removal, or beveling to maintain proper welding standards.
- Apply the correct weld size according to customer specifications and industry best practices.
- Inspect welds for defects using gauges and analysis techniques, performing repairs as needed.
- Interpret drawings, weld symbols, and GD&T standards to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Layout, position, align, and secure components using measuring tools, clamps, and tack welds.
- Shape metal parts with arc or flame cutting equipment to meet specifications or repair damage.
- Conduct “Five Why” root cause analysis on all non-conformances to identify and address underlying issues.
- Follow company and industry safety standards to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
These will be temp to perm positions
Wage will depend on experience and skill but can range from $22 – $32 an hour
There will be a fit/weld test interview
