Position Summary:
Responsible for maintaining financial records, running reports for management, and recording a wide range of financial transactions. Offers administrative and bookkeeping assistance to Accountants and Accounting Manager, confirms the accuracy of accounting database information.
Performance Expectations:
- Enter, verify, and reconcile transactions in accounts payable.
- Upload non-PO invoices into Kofax.
- Prepare and process Bi-weekly AP payments.
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
- Review AP invoices for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies with the appropriate departments or vendors.
- Perform related clerical duties, such as maintaining the filling of record systems
- Prepare Month-end AP accruals.
- Prepare month-end AP reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly vendor account reconciliation.
- Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or Higher.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in an Accounts Payable role.
- Manufacturing setting experience
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Desired Characteristics:
- Proven experience in Accounts payable clerk
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
- Competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers
- Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks
- Data entry and word processing skills
