Quality Supervisor

AWS/CES is looking for a Quality Supervisor (Now Hiring)

East Liberty, OH
 Pay: $24.00/hour
 Shifts Available: 1st & 2nd Shift- Must be open to working overtime

1st Shift- 5:30am-4:30pm

2nd Shift – 3:45pm-2:30am
 Temp-to-Hire

CES/AWS is currently seeking an experienced Quality Supervisor to lead and support inspection teams within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader who is passionate about quality, team development, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support a team of quality inspectors to ensure productivity and quality standards are consistently achieved.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and customer requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain work instructions and quality processes.
  • Monitor production processes, equipment, and personnel to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Analyze production and quality data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and employee development.
  • Partner with Human Resources to address attendance, performance, and employee relations matters.
  • Train and mentor team members to promote growth and operational success.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service.
  • Coordinate staffing and scheduling to meet production demands.
  • Accurately maintain production records, timekeeping, and quality documentation.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or light industrial environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
  • Experience with quality systems, reporting tools, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proficiency with digital systems (Salesforce or similar platforms is a plus).
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop employees.
  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Flexibility to work either 1st or 2nd shift based on business needs.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to visually inspect parts for defects in color, shape, size, and texture.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout a 10–12-hour shift on concrete floors.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach overhead, and climb stairs as needed.
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 lbs.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures.
