Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead 1st shift operations at a high-volume automotive warehouse in Greenwood, IN. This is a direct-hire opportunity for a hands-on leader with proven experience in automotive warehousing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling within an automotive warehouse setting
- Lead, train, and motivate warehouse associates to meet productivity, quality, and delivery goals
- Ensure compliance with automotive customer requirements, safety policies, and OSHA standards
- Monitor labor, workflow, and performance metrics to achieve operational targets
- Coordinate with management and cross-functional teams to support production and customer schedules
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support process optimization
Required Qualifications
- Previous Warehouse Supervisor or Lead experience in an automotive warehouse environment (required)
- Strong understanding of automotive logistics, inventory control, and material flow
- Experience supervising hourly teams in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence
- Effective communication and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Tier 1 automotive suppliers or OEM distribution centers
- Familiarity with WMS systems and KPI tracking
