Canadian Executive Search Group (USA) is currently seeking a Project Coordinator for an Automotive Manufacturing client in the Arlington, TX area.

Location: Arlington/Grand Prairie, TX
Schedule: Full Time/Rotating shifts 4 days on 
Compensation: $52-$60k DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee assigned projects, ensuring adherence to quality control standards, efficiency targets, and cost-effectiveness.
    Provide training to personnel on Standardized Work procedures to ensure consistency and quality across operations.
    Develop and maintain comprehensive work instructions and conduct time studies to optimize production processes.
    Act as the primary point of contact for customers, serving as a liaison to address inquiries, concerns, and project updates.
    Assume the role of project manager for customers requesting detailed engineering and consulting expertise, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
    Conduct regular audits of line-side and warehouse inventory to identify and address any uncertified stock, maintaining compliance with standards.
    Ensure proper adherence to Reject Management and Non-Conforming Disposition (NCD) processes to address quality issues promptly and effectively.
    Collaborate with logistics teams to facilitate smooth material flow in and out of containment areas, optimizing operational efficiency.
    Audit plant and warehouse storage areas to eliminate uncertified stock from usable locations, maintaining inventory accuracy.
    Conduct daily layered process audits of inspection activities to identify and rectify any quality deviations promptly.
    Generate and maintain data management reports related to quality inspection, scrap, inventory, and time management, providing insights for continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • – Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing quality or production
  • – Print, reading ability, gauge or metrology experience
  • – Strong management skills
  • – Good problem solving ability
  • – Have a solid understanding of Microsoft Office and Email
  • – Read and understand technical and non-technical documents as they relate to quality functions within the business
  • – Ability to interface with both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • *(Preferred) PPAP, FMEA, PSO and SPC knowledge. Automotive, quality, and supervisory experience
