Role Overview

This position will serve two main functions: Executive Administration and Marketing Support.

Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative assistance to management and executive-level members of the organization
  • Acting as marketing support for all promotional/marketing activities – new banner creation, communication with outside companies, creating marketing materials, papers, etc.
  • Formatting and improving existing reports
  • Managing and curating Social Media Activity (LinkedIn and other platforms)
  • Creating press releases and regular updating of website content
  • Drafting memos and internal company communication
  • Facilitating prep work for trade shows, ensuring that everything needed is arranged
  • Acting as a liaison for management travel needs
  • Serving as an active member of the company’s social events committee

Qualifications

  • University degree or College diploma in business, marketing, administration, or any equivalent program or field
  • Strong English skills (verbal and written) are essential; any other languages considered an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Powerpoint, Word, Excel, etc.), PDFs, and other office admin software
  • Experience in content writing, social media curation, and booking travel arrangements for management and executives
  • Capable of working in a fast paced environment, working with multiple deadlines, and ability to balance priorities
