Role Overview
This position will serve two main functions: Executive Administration and Marketing Support.
Responsibilities
- Providing administrative assistance to management and executive-level members of the organization
- Acting as marketing support for all promotional/marketing activities – new banner creation, communication with outside companies, creating marketing materials, papers, etc.
- Formatting and improving existing reports
- Managing and curating Social Media Activity (LinkedIn and other platforms)
- Creating press releases and regular updating of website content
- Drafting memos and internal company communication
- Facilitating prep work for trade shows, ensuring that everything needed is arranged
- Acting as a liaison for management travel needs
- Serving as an active member of the company’s social events committee
Qualifications
- University degree or College diploma in business, marketing, administration, or any equivalent program or field
- Strong English skills (verbal and written) are essential; any other languages considered an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Powerpoint, Word, Excel, etc.), PDFs, and other office admin software
- Experience in content writing, social media curation, and booking travel arrangements for management and executives
- Capable of working in a fast paced environment, working with multiple deadlines, and ability to balance priorities
