Canadian Executive Search Group (USA), a division of Arrow Workforce Solutions, is now accepting resumes for a Quality Technician for our client in Mt. Vernon, IN.
Pay rate: $17/hr
Shift: Monday – Friday 3pm-11pm work every other weekend typically (weekend hours will vary based on need)
Location: MT. Vernon, IN
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Under limited supervision, conducts in-process and finished product testing to determine adherence to established specifications of quality and purity.
- Conduct laboratory tests and analyze data for a variety of purposes, such as production, quality control, and minor research.
- Test and analyze products such as feed and wheat products to determine if product meets plant specifications prior to release.
- Release within specification vessels and report out of specification vessels.
- Document results of tests, readings, etc. in Total Lab Client (TLC).
- Complete Certificates of Analyses.
- Prepare chemical solutions for use in the lab.
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and related field instrumentation.
- Support and comply with all food safety, quality, and legality requirements.
- Other duties as assigned and required
Requirements:
- High School/GED or equivalent required
- Reliable transportation
- Must have great attention to detail
- Lab experience a plus
- Collecting and documenting data a plus
- Background check and drug screen required
