CES/AWS is looking for an industrial maintenance tech in Madison Alabama.
Position Overview:
Starting on 1st shift for training, you will eventually transition to the 2nd shift. This role is perfect for someone who is looking to gain hands-on experience and grow their expertise in industrial maintenance. With a competitive salary of $25 an hour, this position offers a fantastic entry point into the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly.
- Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
- Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
- Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
- Repair or replace defective equipment parts and then test the equipment to ensure it is operating correctly.
- Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment to ensure a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- No prior experience is required; comprehensive training will be provided.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
