CANADIAN EXECUTIVE SEARCH GROUP (USA) IS CURRENTLY SEEKING A PROJECT COORDINATOR FOR AN AUTOMOTIVE MANUFACTURING CLIENT IN THE CHATTANOOGA, TN AREA.
Location: Chattanooga, TN
Schedule: Full Time/Rotating shifts
Compensation: $52-$60k DOE

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee assigned projects, ensuring adherence to quality control standards, efficiency targets, and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide training to personnel on Standardized Work procedures to ensure consistency and quality across operations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive work instructions and conduct time studies to optimize production processes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, serving as a liaison to address inquiries, concerns, and project updates.
- Assume the role of project manager for customers requesting detailed engineering and consulting expertise, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- Conduct regular audits of line-side and warehouse inventory to identify and address any uncertified stock, maintaining compliance with standards.
- Ensure proper adherence to Reject Management and Non-Conforming Disposition (NCD) processes to address quality issues promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to facilitate smooth material flow in and out of containment areas, optimizing operational efficiency.
- Audit plant and warehouse storage areas to eliminate uncertified stock from usable locations, maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Conduct daily layered process audits of inspection activities to identify and rectify any quality deviations promptly.
- Generate and maintain data management reports related to quality inspection, scrap, inventory, and time management, providing insights for continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- – Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing quality or production
- – Print, reading ability, gauge or metrology experience
- – Strong management skills
- – Good problem-solving ability
- – Have a solid understanding of Microsoft Office and Email
- – Read and understand technical and non-technical documents as they relate to quality functions within the business
- – Ability to interface with both technical and non-technical personnel.
- *(Preferred) PPAP, FMEA, PSO and SPC knowledge. Automotive, quality, and supervisory experience
